MADEN JEOLOGLARI DERNEĞİ was founded in Ankara on 11 November 2011 with the aim of advancing geology-based sciences related to mining in our country (metallic minerals, industrial raw materials, natural stones, ornamental stones, fossil solid fuels, radioactive minerals) and bringing together geological engineers working in these fields.

By bringing together geological engineers working in the mining sector under the umbrella of the MADEN JEOLOGLARI DERNEĞİ, we will foster professional solidarity among our members who work in the same line of business, while also preserving healthy competition as it should be. In line with our objectives, the following committees have been established within our Association to carry out activities: Professional Training, Technical Accredited Reporting, Social Activities and Communication, and Web and Publishing Committees.

Our Association encourages geology-based technical advances in the mining sector throughout the exploration, development, operation, and post-operation stages.
