"Until today, the idea of gathering geological engineers working in the mining sector under one roof has always been discussed. The ASSOCIATION OF MINING GEOLOGISTS was established in Ankara on November 11, 2011, with the aim of advancing the sciences based on the geology of mines (metallic, industrial raw materials, natural stones, ornamental stones, fossil solid fuels, radioactive minerals) in our country and bringing together geological engineers working in these fields.

By bringing together geological engineers working in the mining sector under the roof of the ASSOCIATION OF MINING GEOLOGISTS, while ensuring professional solidarity among our members working in the same field, the necessary competition will also be maintained. In line with our goals, Professional Education, Technical Accredited Reporting, Social Activities and Communication, Web and Publication Commissions have been established within our Association.

OUR GOALS

To contribute to the development of the mining sector by collaborating and supporting other social community organizations, institutions, and organizations, and participating in and contributing to the legislative processes related to the sector.

To prepare training programs such as courses, seminars, and conferences aimed at improving the professional and technical knowledge and experience of our members, and to implement practices at world standards.

To establish contacts with similar international organizations and carry out coordinated activities, collaborate on projects with these organizations, and assist them.

To publish and distribute all kinds of publications and bulletins in written and visual media in line with the goals of the association and distribute them to its members."
